Exploring Weight
We played games, compared heavy and light and measured with non standard units. We ordered three items from lightest to heaviest.
Winter Maths
We measured our feet using non standard units and we used this to make a Winter display. As part of our Winter walk we used natural materials to make 2D shapes
Pattern
There are lots of lovely patterns in African art and culture. We explored creating our own patterns using a variety of Maths resources.
Number Fun
We have been exploring 'Number 10' using a wide variety of activities.
Area
We used linking elephants and an African base-board to explore the concept of covering an 'Area'.

We continue to explore measuring using non-standard units, during our outdoor learning.
We made a pictograph of our favourite farm animals.
