September
This month we will be:
-getting to know each other;
-learning new routines;
-taking off and putting on our own coats/shoes/boots;
-identifing a wide range of colours and sorting them accordingly.
Magic Beans!
We went for a walk to our school garden. We enjoyed exploring the range of vegetables and found some magic beans! When we picked them they were black and when we cooked them they turned green! This inspired us to share the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. We enjoyed working together to build our own really tall beanstalks!
Apple Crumble
We made a delicious apple crumble using the apples from our garden. We developed our cutting and spooning skills. It was wonderful to sit down together and share food.
Apple Picking
We have been enjoying picking apples from the tree in our garden. I wonder what delicious dish we will make?
