Year 6 went on a Winter Poetry Walk - we enjoyed some winter-themed poetry and then went outside to observe the details of the natural world and season, using our experiences as inspiration for our own poems. ❄️
In response to Anti-Bullying Week, we wrote poems and then held a Poetry Reading. We performed our poems, listened to each other and gave each other feedback.
Presenting our School Council speeches. We also listened closely and provided feedback by giving each other "2 Stars and a Wish".
MEMORIES...
Winter Poetry Walk
We were blown away by this performance of an original playscript written a member of our class. Well done!
For Well-Being Wednesday we thought about how a growth mindset lets us take inspiration from the successes of others. We shared with the class about the people who have inspired us, and how that has impacted us.
You should have heard our excellent Eco-Council speeches... Wow!
Team 5/6 love reading with our Y1 and Y2 Buddies each week!
