This year, Year 6 and 7 classes have been learning about Gender Equality, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Zero Poverty and Zero Hunger.

Year 7 completed the 'Squashed Tomato' challenge. They had to create something to transport tomatoes for farmers in Nepal. The tomatoes had to go down a mountain, so they had to ensure they were not squashed!

Year 6 completed the 'Floating Garden' challenge. They worked in groups to create a floating garden for farmers in Bangladesh to use, to avoid crop failure after flooding. All gardens were tried and tested in the water tray!
