We use lots of different techniques to learn about numbers. Sometimes we write numbers on shaving foam, make them with play dough and use rhymes, - 'Start at the top and down we run, that's the way we make a 1'. We had fun using our bodies to make the numbers 1 to 4.

In Year 1 we explore the terms empty, half full and full. We have great fun experimenting with how many cupfuls will fill a bottle or container.
